Entering your results into League Republic

How to Enter results:

• Log in to the LeagueRepublic Site from the main page: http://fifa11wppsn.leaguerepublic.com/
• Click Sign In (in the blue header, next to Home)
• Login with your PSN ID and default password (fifa11wp)
• Click the Results button.
• Find your match in the list (it may be a little slow to load)
• Enter the result (you can do half time scores if you want, but no real need)
• Click Update at bottom of screen.

Done!

To send out a league invite the players are required to be in the GM's psn friends list. Please ensure you add the appropriate GM so they can send out the invites

League Republic Setup...

So you'll get an email shortly if you're confirmed for the November League.

It'll ask you to authorise the email address for the League Republic address. I have created all of your accounts on the site. Your login will be your PSN ID in the exactly the way you entered it on the Wiki originally.

NOTE: If you have a hypen (-) in your PSN ID, you will have to leave that out of the username for the LR site. it wouldn't allow hyphens.

The password for everyone is fifa11wp

I have set-up the divs, the fixtures and now users, so you should be able to log in to http://fifa11wppsn.leaguerepublic.com/ and enter results as soon as we start

November League Rules...

New Fifa installation, similar rules to Fifa10... few tweaks so read below

Registration:

• Players must sign up on the Fifa11 wiki on wp
• Currently sorting out players who are eligible based on this month and will open up the remaining regos shortly. There are around 5 spots available and some new guys have shown interest to join. They will be contacted shortly

League Setup:

• November has been setup with 4 divisions. Players were randomly placed in the EPL, Championship, La Liga and Secunda Liga and teams were also randomly drawn using an external website. Divisions are teams selections can be found on the blog.
• There are a few spots available and the players who join up will enter the divisions in order. The next available team will be given to them also based on the order of the team in the corresponding division (check random draw links)
• Base rate of games will be 18 games
• edit: You will play each opposition 4 times
• 4 leagues will be setup within Fifa11 and I require 4 GM's to run the corresponding leagues.
• There will be a timeline to complete the group phase which will be posted shortly
• Finals structure has a 2 tie knockout round with home and away goals determining the player to progress.
• If a D/C occurs during a game and the score is 0-0 within the first 30 minutes then an full unranked replay will be played. Anything after that, then just a single half should be played to determine the result. Player discretion should be used in this instance of a replay. i.e. If a game gets d/c at the start of the 2nd half, then only 1 half should be played etc if its a close game. On the other hand, If your loosing 4-0 then dont bother. Either way, its up to the players to decide
• Results of the games will be uploaded to a new site we are trialing called League Republic. Mickrad has organised this and if you are participating in the league then you should have received an email to join up. This is still new to us so please so patient

Forfeiting System: (same as previously)

• We must decide a base number of games which is going to be 18 games this month
• Everyone must play the base number of games
• If you do not play the base number of games, you will be in forfeit. As a further penalty, the player be excluded from the following month's league
• If you are in forfeit every result with a player already played with and and if the player has played the base number of games will be recorded as a 3-0 win for the player unless the margin of victory is more than 3 goals. So if you lose 1-0, you'll be awarded a 3-0 win, however if you win 7-0 you get to keep your score.
• If a player hasn't played the forfeited player, he is not entitled to the win
• In the event that players have already played the base number of games, then points come into effect – for instance: PL W L D GD PTS

n00bert 28 – 16 -12 – 0- +40 – 48
Sanchez 25 – 20 – 5 -0 – +50 -60

Mr Gosu 16 – 16 – 0 – 0 – +41 – 48

The rankings would be – Sanchez, Gosu, n00bert. Make sense?

So basically, if you've played the base number of games – the actual league table comes into effect.

• Players who do not play the base number of games are, as a matter of principal, excluded from the league table and will not qualify even if they have more points than a person who has played the base number of games. This is to prevent players from reaching the "safe zone" and then refusing to play any more games. This puts further impetus on players who have not played their base number of games to chase the players that already have.

So for instance – in a battle for fourth – (if the base number of games is 16)

Dardy – 14 – 14 -0 – 0 – +15 – 42
Sanchez – 16 – 14 – 2 – 0 – +15 – 42
Mr Gosu – 16 – 14 – 2 – 0 – +10 – 42

The only people in consideration in this scenario are Sanchez and Gosu as they have played the base number of games. And in this scenario, all 14 wins for Dardy will be reverted to losses against the players who Dardy has already played. Dardy would also be suspended from the following months league.

• A cut off date for group stages must be set and any grace periods to finish league games will be decided on a monthly basis by Sanchez.

November Lge Update...

If you missed the post in the wp thread today the 4 divisions have been set up. They are the EPL & Championship as well as La Liga and Secunda Liga. They were set up in total random order by taking the list of eligibles from the month of October and sorted them in alphabetical order and then numbered them 1 to 4. We have 56 currently in the November league, waiting on a few confirmations to player involvement in Lge 1 to continue till November (Abocrombie, sotirii, rikkh81) and if Inspekta and PegzLegz are going to play in this league.

Divisions have been set up and teams have been allocated using this website http://www.random-draw.com/. Pretty self explanatory, players will fill up the remaining spots in the leagues once they are confirmed and will take the next available team from the draw.

From Mick in regards to the League Republic Setup:

I've now imported all of the players into the League Republic site and placed you in the division that Sanchez has allocated. Next thing is to get you all logins to the site so you can login and post your results. I will allocate you all usernames (same as your PSN ID) and a default password. You should start seeing some emails from League Republic in the next little while.

Amateur of the week ... Sort of!!!

League Roundup...

Kudos to most of the boys who have made their way into the league by following the instructions that were clearly set out from early on. If you dont have an invite yet to the league then either you didnt follow by the rules and add the gm's to your psn friends list. League 2 is pretty much full where there are 3 or 4 stragglers who havent made their way into League 1 yet. Failure to add the GM's to the league in the next few days will result in you not being eligible for selection for the next month.

If you are on my psn list and havent received an invite for whatever reason please let me know. I am quite certain i have sent all of them out but knowing EA and you dont have it let me know and I will resend.

League 1...

Had to hand back my EB rental today so unfortunately will not be partaking in any of the League 1 games until I get my copy sent from the UK. If you are waiting for an invite for league 1 then you will have to wait sorry until I get mine as I was the only GM in the group as Mickrad is in the same international delivery boat as me hehe

Editing Chants & Songs...

There has been some talk of this feature in the wp thread and I for one am a massive fan of this. The dude who created the thread on the EA forums and uploaded all the chants, entrance music, goal music etc needs one massive pat on the back. There is nothing better than hearing the your favourite teams real life chants in game! If you are keen on getting your hands on what ever is left then you can find them by clicking at the end of the post. 

What you need to do is download the songs you want, transfer them on USB then put them on the ps3. You can group them so they play random songs for the theme via a created playlist or you can pick individual songs for each. You find this option on Fifa 11 under the options, my chants or something along those lines.

Induction October League Setup...

Guys the league regos are now closed and we have split the league into 2 massive leagues for the first month with 32 teams in each. This league is just an induction to the game as a no frills fun for all with no restrictions on how many games played and team selections. You may choose any team you want in this league. Kaan and Dodo are your league GM's for League 2 and myself and MickRad are the GM's for league 1. League 2 has been set up and League 1 will be setup either tonight or tomorrow when I get some time. You will be receiving league invites from the GM's to enter the league, if you do not get one then please contact them directly! They have to be on your PSN friend list for them to send the invites so if you see an invite, ACCEPT IT!

Even though this is an induction league it is also a test for all the newbies to see if they are active or not. If you do not participate in this league then you will be booted of it for the month of November when we go full steam ahead!
