How to register

No different to before, you need to register by putting your details into the google spreadsheet we have had for the past 4 months. If your a newbie and you weren't in the other leagues, then you need to send me your email so I can give you access to view it.

League Setup

32 teams will be in the 2 star or less structure. 4 Groups, 8 teams per group and you will play each opponent 4 times in the league. The top 4 teams will go thru into the knockout round. If you dont play your required games by the specified time line (check below) then you will forfeit the match and loose 3-0.
As each of you register you will be placed into your corresponding group. After each successful registration, the player will go into the next group that is awaiting a player.
After each game you are required to enter your scores into the zoho results spreadsheet (either one of you i dont care) so if the teams are a draw on points at the end of the group phase, then goal differences will be taken into account. The GM's will be keeping an eye on the results section to see the scores noted are the actual scores
There will be a time limit of the group stages. There will be more detail to follow as the dates are not concrete
Finals structure has been updated. There will now be a 2 tie knockout round. with home and away goals determining the player to progress. The playoff format is as follows:

There are 4 league GMs who will create each of the leagues. They are myself, tonenugen, WiselyBooth (to confirm) and nOObert. They will send you the details or invite in game (if on friends list) to join the league. I am also grouping all the WA players in the same group as the time difference to play EST players was a little difficult.
If a D/C occurs during a game and the score is 0-0 within the first 30 minutes then an full unranked replay will be played. Anything after that, then just a single half should be played to determine the result. Player discretion should be used in this instance of a replay. i.e. If a game gets d/c at the start of the 2nd half, then only 1 half should be played etc if its a close game. On the other hand, If your loosing 4-0 then dont bother. Either way, its up to the players to decide...
Forfeits: Well this is an ongoing issue and we are yet to come to a concrete suggestion that everyone approves of. Hopefully we will work something out soon for it.

Team Selection

There will be no live draw this month as Talaash is MIA. We have though given you a choice of all 2 star teams in the game to choose from which is on google docs under the "Feb Team Listing - 2 Star Max" tab at the bottom of the document. First in best dressed to choose your team as players have chosen them already.

Results Section

nOObert set up the results spreadsheet into a Zoho from the last month and we will use this one also this month. This spreadsheet has built in macros/formulas etc that make filling out the results so much easier. We have created this so if there is a tie for 4th place, the person with the better goal difference will go thru. After each game or whenever appropriate you must enter in your scores for the group phase games for this to work. All players are responsible for entering their results, if you cant do it for whatever reason, then let somebody know in the WP thread who has access to the sheets to upload it. If you have a gmail or yahoo account then you dont need to sign up for this, you just enter your details. If you use hotmail etc then you will need to register for it. There are 4 documents for the 4 different groups and they have been added on the blog in the worthy links section. Whim nOObert to get access to Groups A,B & C if you dont have it already and lgaratt for Group D.

I will keep on updating this page and upload it to the worthy links section as an FAQ etc so you all know what is going on
